the only carbon fiber group buy I've been is with gt fab buying the doors from the, which i actually got my doors delivered and the fit perfectly.. the only problem I had with them was with the shipping, i was one of the lucky ones who received the package and unharmed... Go to my pics, you can see the doors there...
I don't mean to be an ahole, but bodykits.com has your lip for $279.20, and your 11-15 group buy price for the lip picked up at ED is $244.43. A 12-13% difference doesn't sound to much of a group buy price. Like I said, I'm not trying to be cute or smart, but maybe for me a $34.77 difference can wait for a later non-group buy.

I am glad you did your research on this lip. Now go back to that site and add shipping costs.
Keep in mind this is within the US and not PR. You are more then welcome to purchase these items from whomever you wish.

I am only going to be requiring 50% down. Then the other 50% will be due once the lips actually get to us from overseas. So you'll have plenty of time to get the rest of the money. To answer your questions on when I stop collecting, it will be by Aug 18th or so.

With you added now we have 11. As long as all the people who have signed up pay we'll be able to get the 2nd tier discount.
I am going to send everyone a PM mid next week with directions on how to pay. I won't charge anyone anything until I am confirmed on how many people are partaking in this GB. Plus this additional week of wait time may benefit all the buyers if we can get to 16+

Damn gabytech you just got put in your place.
This is a great deal on a great looking product. I just got my CC hood from you today and if the quality of the lip is half as good as the hood everyone will be very pleased with it.

Glad to hear can't wait to get it.
I am glad you won't be ending the group buy for another 2 weeks. That gives me more money to spend at the shootout.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to be smart or an ahole, I'm just trying to figure if its worth the saving for me to buy the lip at the moment or If I can wait a few more months and right now buy other performance parts which I might need more than the cf parts.
Extreme dimensions, heres a question, If I join the group buy and buy the lip, can I buy some other parts like cf hood and fenders with an additional discount on the hood and fenders??? As the price of bodykits.net, the lip + the hood + the fenders come to a total of $1,151.76. If possible, what additional discount if any can be given from you guys. If I can buy the lip, hood, and fenders all together for a reasonable discount price, I for sure can join the group buy... Let me know if possible...

See gabytech, if you would have told me this right away I would have been able to understand why you were asking just for the price of the lip.
Your total for a Carbon OEM Hood, Carbon Fenders and Carbon AeroOne Lip would be: $1,050.35 + MultiBox Shipping ($412.00 + $29.00 for Residential Fee). If I am able to fit everything in the hood box, even though I rather not shipping would be $312.00 + $29.00 for Residential Fee

Can I make the 50% deposit only for the lip, and when the rest of the 50% payment is due, also pay the cf OEM fenders and OEM hood ??? If I buy the lip, fenders, and hood, my total including shipping is $1,491.35. Since my lip will cost a total of $423.85, I can make a 50% deposit of $212 and when the lip, fenders, and hood arrived to you, I'll make the remaining balance due of $1,279.35. Since you as a seller is asking for a non-refundable 50% deposit as a safety measure on your business behalf; me as a customer, I would also like a safety measure on my behalf. I don't feel very comfortable making a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit from the total amount of $1,491.35, which the 50% deposit would be $745.67, and waiting 10-16 weeks for you guys to receive the parts and an additional 1-2 weeks waiting for the parts to arrive to me, which would be an estimated total of 12-18 weeks from the day the order is made to the day the parts arrive to my house. Paypal only gives the buyer 45days to open a dispute in case of any problems with the item in arrival or the item never been received. The same way you are making sure serious buyers get in the group buy by making the deposit non-refundable, myself as a buyer would also like some undertanding from the seller in feeling secure my items will arrive. I'm not doubting Extreme Dimensions business, but those who are naive are the ones that get taken for a sucker. I called paypal an hour ago, asking if when the payment is done by me, theres a way for them to extend the dispute atleast for 16weeks, but since there system is automated, theres no way for them to do that. They gave me another option, but it didn't sound right, they told me one way to extend the dispute term, is for the seller to refund the money before the 45 dispute time frame, and the buyer once again making the payment afterwards, creating a new transaction, and the dispute claim 45 day term starting once again, but that didn't sound to ok for me and I think that won't sound to ok for you either. So I thought if I can make the 50% payment just for the lip, and after you get the parts from the group buy plus my fender and hood, paying the remaining balance due left. Let me know if at all that would be possible. I hope you can understand my point of view and what I think is a fair business agreement. If we can come to this agreement, I'm all green light on the deal, I can make the initial payment this upcoming friday... Please let me know...

I am still squinting my eyes from reading all that haha. Well this GB works differently. Paypal is not used and rather the deposit is taken on a Credit Card. I would hate to loose your business but unfortunately this deal is more complicated then necessary. I totally agree with your point of view but the rules aren't mine they are the companies. We've been in business for 10 years and have over $5,000,000 in inventory on hand.
The issues with Paypal. If you leave a deposit, you can cancel up till the 45th day, for ANY reason. If that reason is you haven't received your product then it ruins the GB for everyone. I can't go to the rest of the members of the GB and ask them to pay up, its not fair to them. I also can't risk loosing money for the company either. I hope you understand my point of view. If you choose to go to Andy's or any one of our other vendors you will still be treated very well and given an excellent product without any wait time.
Option for you. If you don't want to wait on the GB then you can buy all these parts now. $1,085.25 + Shipping. If you wanted to do PayPal for this transaction it would be completely okay with me. But, the fees must be taken care of.

sorry for the long reply, haha.. So you have them in stock at the moment ???? Since I began a back and forth business deal with you guys, and actually you have been a decent person to deal with, it seems unfair for me to go with anyone else. For me doing business ain't going with the one with the lowest price, I do business with ppl who are honest and have excellent customer service while mantaining a pretty fair and decent price.. If you guys have the parts in stock, i can make the total payment by mid september, I also need to bring food to the family, so I need to divide the total amount in an estimated 3 pay checks.

I was going over my calendar and the days I get paid, I can divide the total amount in 4 pay checks starting this friday, so I can have the total amount for september 23. I can contact you before making the payment to make sure you have the lip, fenders, and hood in stock and pretty much doing the payment and just wait a few days for it to clear in order for them to get shipped. That way i don't have to wait the 10-16 weeks from fabrication. Let me know if this sounds ok.
my eclipse has a 2gb front conversion.

I would NEVER deal with bodykits.com!!! I tried once before when I was 18, had just goten my first DSM. I spent $900 almost $1k with them...... uhhh yeah, 4 months later, I was out $600, never got ANY of the products I ordered, and just ended up losing $600 for their stupid mistake. I was young and naive at the time, a nice lawsuit would have fixed everything. but yeah they have crappy customer service, just horrible!!!
so I've dealt with ExtremeDimensions ever sense, and I wish I would have dealt with these guys from the get go. I've never had problems with the products, shippings always fast, prices are reasonable, and the customer service is so good

Gabytech brought up a good point. If i do pay with paypal and the 45 day dispute is over and I don't get the lip in time and if a problem ever arouse how will that be handle.
An example was with 386 customs for the back fascia/ lip. It was over 2 months and I never heard anything back. Since it was to late to open a dispute with paypal I was very lucky they refunded my full amount back when I open my email and it said I got money from pay pal(what a relief).
I was just wondering.
Bishikid
You gonna get in this or what I want to be the only dsm in fresno with this lip .
Now that I have the mess up lip from gtfab just lying in my garage
