The STM "Ricer" Evo VIII is almost done...
STM has been insanely busy this entire year. From the new AWD Mustang Dyno, the new shop location, moving, new parts & products, more employees... it's been hard to keep up on our shop car, but, it is finally nearing completion.
We bought this car brand new with 3 miles on it from the showroom floor. It's never seen salt, never been in an accident, and still all factory, Mitsubishi paint.
In 2008, this car set the record for fastest and quickest STOCK-BLOCK Evo VIII-IX. STM still holds that record (and people are trying to beat it) for over a year now. We pushed the stock motor to it's limits with a 10.04 and a best mph of 142.
Pics HERE

Needless to say, the end of the season came to an epic ending with ENEOS, coolant and engine components splayed all about the 330' mark.
STM's Stock-Block Evo "RICER" Blows up! (unedited - Car Videos on StreetFire
So, as with any fatal destruction, we rebuild. Main concern: Weight. From 12 pounds of sound-deadening goo removed, 20 pounds of extra wiring, brackets, suspension pieces, even went so far as to cut off the roof!

can it get any cleaner!?!?!?!? Someone spill some oil on that thing, or at least put one greasy fingerprint! JK It'll have plenty of time to get dirty at the track. Nice work.

Not really sure. I'm hoping to see 650 whp on our dyno. With that much we should be able to run deep 9's @155+.

You could line this car up beside any other car on the planet and I would rather look at this one. The attention to detail and the quality parts used are truely inspiring to say the least. Good luck and I can't wait to see the car in action
