6 Bolt Big Rods for 7 Bolt Crankshafts!!

DSM Graveyard
Your #1 Source for Used DSM Parts!!

DSM Graveyard - Your #1 Source for Used DSM Parts!

Here at DSM Graveyard, we now offer 6 Bolt Big Rods to fit the 7 Bolt Crankshafts. These rods are basically blanchard ground to the right thickness to fit the thinner 7 bolt crankshafts. These are also bored out to fit the larger 2G Wrist pins and bead blasted to a like new finish. ( Can make these available to not have the larger wrist pins in case you wanted to use the 7.8 to 1 or 9.0 to 1 6 Bolt Pistons. ) These rods are what we use on our 7 Bolt Frankenstein Custom Build.

At the moment, we can either machine your rods, or we can send you a new set of refurbished rods. Cores are helpful to keep the cost down, since we like to reserve our rods for the custom engine builds.

Lastly, we also can send these rods with New Pistons Installed, ready to build!! This way you do not have to deal with a local machine shop to get your wrist pins pressed in, they are read for rings and installation! We can install any OEM Oversize too!!

Feel free to contact us with any questions, Thanks!!

We do use ARP or New OEM on our builds, whichever the customer preferres. We don't trust old rod bolts either, we'll make a check option on these for new bolts (OEM or ARP).

Thanks for the advice!
