Slowboy Update! Machine Shop - Customer Cars Inside!

For starters my shamless sales plug lol

Our machine shop has been cranking out customer motors like there is no tomorrow. And we have finally reached the stage where we have a bunch of extra motors for customers that are in a pinch

From left to right on the picture in the showroom:

Stock 6 bolt
2.0L Stage 2 7 bolt - Mahle Pistons Eagle Rods
2.3L Stage 2 7 bolt - Mahle Pistons Eagle Rods Brand New OEM Crank
2.4L Stage 2 Evo/3g 7 Bolt - Wiseco Pistons Eagle Rods

Those are up for grabs for anyone that needs them!

Then as you can see we have the machine shop lined both on the left under the boxes and the right with blocks/longblocks for our customers!

Turbo Bike Research TUrbo GSX-R1000

The bike was making about 195rwhp and we added a Snow Performance Stage 1 Meth kit and it went up to 220whp (mind you this is all on a stock motor) - it trapped 119 in the 1/8th mile but the air shifter was acting up and never made a full clean pass - we were hoping around 156mph in the 1/4

Recently we sent the t25 away and had Blouch jam a 16g compressor wheel into the turbo and we are shooting for 250whp - or whatever the stock motor handles, whichever one comes first

Dyno tuning started yesterday and will commence throughout the rest of the week - I will keep you guys posted.

3G Eclipse Dirt Track Car!

Finished 14th out of 77 in our customers last race - we are putting our 3g turbo kit on it - that includes an evo3 16g, 2g manifold, evo MAF - and then flashing the ecu just like we would do for an evo!

We have the 2.4 in the above mentioned post and a sohc 3g head that is built in stock - but we are going to see how the car runs on the turbo kit before we swap the motor out.

The 3g that we have here made 255whp/250wtq on the evo3 16g and with it being a 2.4 - the spool up time is crazy.

Should be a cool car once its done

Our newest sponsored car

This MR-2 is currently FIRST overall in the Rally America Group 2 Class

We are swapping out the suspension for some better shocks as these stockers are just about toast, and it should have a new clutch in it by the end of the week - then it will jump on our dyno. We are thinking it will only make about 100whp - but it is all in the driving.

You might even see mr. Huml co-drive in some upcoming events (for those of you that have seen it - dont let the picture of Mike violating the JMF manifold scare you )

All around this is a cool car!

They have a class that allows the use of a turbo on a roundy-round track?

I have a dirt track at the end of my road (less than 1/8 mile away), but they don't have anything in place that would allow the use of AWD or a turbo, so I've never considered building anything to run there.

Cool car though.

We now have eight DSM/ EVO shortblocks in stock - if only the guys in the head shop could move this fast - !! (We are still 10 head orders behind, if you are one of them we are movign as fast as possible - we pulled lead engine builder off blocks for a week to help with cylinder heads).

I dont think the 3g came with a turbo on it, from the looks it has the N/A 4g64 motor, plus they did away with the AWD eclipses after the 2g's...correct me if im wrong though

Here is how it went down -

Guy brings car in.

He says it needs another 100 HP.

We say no problem, leave it here.

He says "what you going to do"?

We said - turbocharge it.

He says - cool stuff, see you in two weeks.

We said - see you then!
