I need a 35w ballast for a 9006 6000k. I have a supervision kit currently, can I just use your ballast or should I keep them the same?

You can use our ballasts. They all use standard connectors. Ours may vary in output a little.

Just bought a set. What a waste of Sylvania's. I bought them last winter. Ill have fun with these throughout this winter. Time to fight back all those trucks with HIDs blinding me.

I bought the 35w 5000k. They're definitely way better over stock halogen bulbs. I ran my car with Sylvania Silverstars 9006 before I got Sharp's 5000k kit and they're truely awesome. I would also highly recommend this kit to anyone whose still on stock bulbs.

Installation was pretty straight foreward. If you're afraid to install these, there is a really nice walkthrough on SharpHID.com - Automotive HID Xenon Conversion Lighting Products. As for how good these works, they're great. Only thing I wish I had done was maybe like a projector retrofit so that the light would be better wide spread out for a even better view. Other than that, $90 shipped was well spent. Thanks Sharp for the great deal. I'll try to post up pictures of before and after but my digital camera isn't the greatest.

I love these lights. I have a nikon slr and if I knew how to use it better I am sure that the difference in color would be more apparent. The pictures don't do it justice. I have the 35w 5000k and the light is white with just a touch of blue.

Probably goes without saying, driver side is HID and passenger normal. Also I had to reverse the polarity per the instructions on his website.

55W is really really bright. If you are putting them in stock non-projector housings you won't be able to control the light cut off well enough and you will piss off every driver that drives towards you.

Wes seems to have it covered. 55w kits are much brighter than a 35w kit (about 35%) and will cause a great deal of glare in a regular stock housing. Projectors are a far better option for putting 55w kits into.

Ok now I got a question on color. I've looked over your gallery and the part that is confusing me is that some of the pictures aren't very consistent. I under stand this is because different cameras show up different.

This is a 5000k bulb

This too is 5000k bulb but is noticeable more blue tinted.

Now this is 6000k which should be more blue, but is actually appears less blue then the above picture.

Now this is another 6000k that appears pretty blue.

But now here is an 8000k one, which should be deeper blue, almost appear white.

So I'm confused on what temp I should get. To make it easy, I want to look like this:

but I don't want it to be to white like this:

Both of those are 6000k.

So recommendations?

I believe the 35w 6000k is what you are looking for.

Ok, next question. You suggest the 35w, as was stated before the difference is about 35% brightness. Does the wattage change the color at all, or only the level of brightness?

Since this will be for my daily driver; which has OEM projectors, I think the 55w would be better. I'd probably go with 35w for my high beams/fogs since they have standard reflective housing.

I just installed the 35w on mine and dude...they're as bright as I'd like them. It's such a huge diference than the Silverstars are/were. 55w, in my opinion is just over-kill. You'll more than likely will just be blinding everyone since this is your daily driver. But to each his own.

No disrespect, but please don't respond with statements when you don't have experience with the 55w setup (In fact, thats actually one of the forum rules). As stated before, my daily driver has OEM jeweled projectors with proper cut-offs, not reflective housings. Also stated before by the vendor, projector housings are better suited for the 55w setup. In addition, you did not answer my question (also one of the forums rules).

Now I address this to the vendor. What tempature do you suggest and does the wattage affect the color?

Ordered my set of 35w 6000k's on Wednesday, got them on Friday, put them in Friday night, and they are awesome! The only setback other than reversing the polarity was that the cutout on the bulb base for the spline was in the wrong place, so I had to cut a new notch (being very careful all the while to not touch the glass with ANYTHING). Keep in mind that I do have aftermarket projectors so this is probably only an issue with this brand.

laserspeeddemon: Just so you know, mine are not as blue as the picture’s that you want yours to look like, so you might want to go with 8000k’s.

No disrespect to you sir since I think you took my response as disrespect, but you said you have OEM projectors. Now you say they're OEM jeweled projectors with proper cut offs and all that jazz. How was I supposed to know that? Anyway, true I don't have experience with the 55w and only the 35w and since 55w is 35% brighter, using common sence here, I said that they ARE indeed going to be BRIGHTER, as you asked if they were. So I did answer part of your question in them being brighter. Now as far as the color goes, again not sure on that one since rule 3 says Don't try to help if you don't know the answer - bad advice is often worse than no advice (no "I think" or "I guess" or "I've heard"). So I can't tell you,"I think they're going to be a deeper color." But of course this rule is broken on 90% of the threads on here.

Please don't try and pull the whole you didn't follow the rules when I'm giving you advice. You said this is your daily driver. 55w is 35% brighter than the 35w when the 35w is I quote from the vendor:
