Shop car complete turbo kit.

We decided to sell the turbo setup from our shop car. It's a complete unit. Email for more pics.

- GT40R Dual Ballbearing Turbo (Twin-scroll)
- Custom tubular twin scroll exhaust manifold
(divided collector)
- Two wastegates (Tial 38mm)
- Two dump tubes
- custom O2 housing
- custom downpipe
- I can also include all the braided lines with AN fittings
- THe manifold is also jet-hot coated.

Garrett's latest Dual Ball Bearing GT4094R Turbo assembly. T4 style inlet flange with 3.00" V-BAND exit. Large style compressor housing with 4.00" inlet and 2.50"outlet. Great upgrade path (direct fit) for a GT4088R application or any new high HP application that desires the compact package. Good for up 850HP with great top end power and best spoolup for the power range.

Turbine
-Wheel: 77mm w/ 78trim
-Housing: .95 A/R
-Maps: Not Available

Compressor
-Wheel: 94mm w/ 52 trim
-Housing: .72 ar

This setup never left the shop. It only has dyno pulls on it and it was not more than 20 miles. It's worth $6k, but we will end up selling it for a lot less. Please contact me at kamil@hirevperformance.net for more info.
Thanks

I can vouch for this kit. Nothing but the best quality parts and a very well built manifold. I would have hopped on this immediately if I hadn't just bought a new setup. Good luck with the sale Kamil.

Thanks Edwin, Jerry and everyone else. I have one person that is interested. His only concern is the spool up time. Jerry, do you mind hopping in and vouching for the twin scroll gt40?

Sure thing Kamil. For the most part people carry the misconception that a TWIN SCROLL 40R turbo kit will take months to spool. In reality, it's about the same as a standard 35R turbo kit. The car will have more lag then stock, which is expected, but not nearly as bad as some would think. I personally would think Kamil's set-up would be fine for daily driving as long as the car can take the abuse. As a matter of fact, we have a few customers that do daily drive their cars with similar builds. I'm assuming whomever is interested in the kit is or will in the near future have a built motor. As long as the block will hold up, it's going to be one fast-ass car...

Jerry

The difference between a 2.0 and a 2.3 with a 40R is less then 500 rpm difference between the two IIRC. I think on a 35R it's about 300-350 rpm. With a 2.0, I usually ignore the fact that I have a longer spool up time simply because the 2.0 can rev higher, so you have a more effective top end. The 280 cams will help a great deal as well. I'm assuming you are going to drag race the car, and if that's the case, you will most likely still stay within boost between shifts if that's what you concern was.

Jerry
