There is a universal harness you can use with it...but it won't be plug and play. You'd need to wire it up. (not difficult if you understand the concept)

Very well...it's the only way i'd run a COP (w/ some sort of external amp). It will however need to wired differently.

We've run them for quite a while now. They're by far the least prone to failure.

Can you explain these two features?
Built in launch limiter, works from 2000-11900 RPM
Built in fixed timing retard function

Great price too.

Same thing as a 2 step.
EDIT...you added the 2nd part after I posted. I have an idea but I want to clarify it before I post. I'll update soon.

Nope, you can still use it. Just a little more work. Check out this thread.

I know it's like a two step, but how do you get it to work?
Chris, can you answer these questions?

There's a dial on the side of the CDI box that you set the RPM for the 2step. Mat the gas and clutch and it will cut ignition at the desired RPM.

How does it know when the clutch is pushed down... is there a wire you have to connect?
Also, could you explain "Built in fixed timing retard function"...

The timing retard function allows you to retard the ignition timing by a fixed ten degrees (10°) when the timing retard is enabled. yes, you wire the system into your clutch switch to use the 2 step. If your in the market for an ignition this is a great choice.

I ran it on my old 2g with no problems at all, every function it has works very well and is a reliable setup.

The manu says: This DIP Switch allows the user to select between having the ARC-2 fire only one time at all RPMs, or having it re-strike at lower RPMs. This is useful for setting/checking engine timing, and also if there are other electronics that might be confused by multiple sparks.
Which one should I use? The restrike only works at low RPMs. How about high RPMs?

This is very tempting. I have a MSD DIS2 and tach adapter right now and I'm looking into installing it with my COP kit. The ARC seems to be easier to install on the 90's with COP. Which is great because this MSD/COP with a 90 model thing is starting to really suck!

Just noticed this. How does it need to be wired if you want to run a COP with it?
