I run the Arc-2 on my car with a COP setup. The Arc-2 just plugs inline between the stock coil pack and the engine harness. So as long as your COP would plug into the stock harness it'll plug directly into the Arc-2 harness that comes with this kit.

Dude, once again. Dsmlink and Dynatek ARC-2 have nothing in common. One is a EMS, one is a spark amplifier. At higher boost levels it is possible to blow out your spark, with this product you will not do that, and you can run wider gaps on your plugs.

With that said, if you plan on running 30+psi, which I'm sure you would on a fully built 35r, it couldn't hurt.

So if you've got a 91-99 DSM then it's plug and play, which means it does everything without any other adapters.

It seems like they have every other install guide except for the ARC-2 on their website. What's your fax number, i'll fax a copy of ours to you. (PM it to me)

So does this replace your coil pack all together? Would I also still need the power transistor? Does anyone have any close up pics of every connection made on this thing? Thank you for the space!

Edit- I know there are pcs above, but I want to see pics of were the connections go from the CDI with a COP set-up.

As you can see in the pics above the stock coil pack is still in place. The power transistor has to be used also. This isn't a complete ignition system it's a CDI to give your stock coils or COP more energy.

I've been running an ARC-2 for a couple thousand miles now. I've been to the dyno (33psi falling to 29psi up top), and to the track and made about a dozen passes (about 30psi). Not a single glitch or misfire all year, I love it. I haven't even changed my plugs since switching out to a fresh set the day I dynoed the car. That compares to the stock ignition needing new plugs every 5 or so passes all of 2005, 2006, and 2007. Now I can finally drive the car instead of wrenching on it.

Also if anybody has any questions regarding installing it on a 90 dsm, its easy, just PM me.

Today is Sunday, June 1st, 2008. Maybe that's why.

Is this thing worth it for a daily driver?
