If you answered yes to any of the above questions these custom studs from ARP are a great option. They utilize the same H11 tool steel for the studs, dubbed L19 by ARP, which has been proven to hold cylinder pressures present over 1000whp!
Sure, these aren't for everyone. The tried and true 207-4201 ARP head studs have proven themselves time and time again. However, the bar continues to be raised in regards to the 4g63 platform. It's almost as if you have to be in the 8 second range to be considered fast anymore! As such, many of us have set our goals higher and the standard ARP's just aren't going to cut it!
*The nuts and washers in this extreme duty kit continue to utilize a premium grade 8740 alloy found in the standard ARP kit as these are not the point of failure in regards to cylinder head lifting and head stud stretch.
