Bolt Kits

Let's see if any of you are interested in these:

There are two bolts kits which can be combined into one kit. One part of the kit replaces the 3 bolts and 1 stud which hold the stock exhaust manifold to the turbo. The other kit replaces the 3 bolts that hold the O2 housing to the turbo.

This kit is designed so that the bolts which secure these components won't come loose. Often these bolts will come loose and blow out the gaskets or simply cause exhaust leaks which will increase turbo lag and reduce turbo efficency.

These are brand new factory Mitsubishi bolts which have been modified in such a way that they can accept a locking fastner preventing them from backing out.

The prices are as follows:

Turbo manifold to turbo kit $90.00 (includes 4 modified bolts, tear drop locks & e clips)

O2 housing to turbo kit $60 (includes 3 modified bolts, tear drop locks & e clips)

Total kit $135.00 (includes all 7 modifed bolts, tear drop locks & e clips)

How exactly do the tear drop locks and e clips keep the bolts from backing out?

I can see how the turbine to o2 bolts would lock, but how would the mani to turbine bolts lock without anything to pivot against?

90 bucks for 4 bolts, and then shipping, its cheaper to buy bolts for a e30 m3 then it is to buy for a mitsubishi made by chrysler it seems, why dont you cut those prices in half and then maybe you'll make a sale, free shipping to might bring you a sale within the next year

They come with locks and clips and bolts are modified. Any of you with a turbo dsm knows that these bolts always get loose causing all sorts of problem. We buy the OEM bolts, send them out to get them modified, pay for shipping both ways and we also pay for making the locks and the clips+ shipping on those. I am not saying it's a must have, but it does take care of some headaches.

This is a good alternative to the average Joe who knows nothing about saftywire, but I would just drill a hole in the bolt and safteywire it.

Or use nordlocks They're a lil' pricey but you put these on anything and they won't come loose.

for the fp race manifold you need two turbo bolts and two o2 housing bolts so he has them he would just have to send you two of each
