The fact that the rear "fenders" or quarter panels are welded to the car and a part of the body, I don't know if you can do that. But hey, anythings possible.

Ummmm ..
I didnt read thorough the tread, i just seen it pop up, but ..
Has anyone ever though of making a 2G carbon dash with and airbag delete , center console and some other interior panels as well, so it dont look retarded.

It could be quite the weight reduction compared to the stock dash and air bag, but the rest of the panels may not do that great of a difference.

Also what about the fuel filler door ??


And whats the vented hood ???
