Does anyone know if this heat shield has any affect on under hood temps? And if so, how does that affect how the car runs. Sorry for the noob question but I don't know.

I'm most curious to see if this thing is going to just reflect the heat downwards at my alternator since it has nothing on the underside.

My dad fabricated me a side heat shield to protect my alt. I'll post pics once I get home from work.

Another 15 shipped out today, we tried to go in order but sometimes its easier to get the unpolished ones out of the way first. The batch that went out today was mixed, the remaining 15 will ship out next Friday.

Eh, dont trip. I was like #5 on the list and still nothing (my shield was unpolished).
No too worried though. Since my car is still under the knife for the 6 bolt swap.

Got mine yesterday. Two tiny indents on the front, I'm assuming it's from bending the sheetmetal. Other than that, it's farking gorgeous!!

Correct, the 2 indents are from the press brake tooling, very hard to get out unless we sand for hours!

The rest of the heatshields were finished up today. Keep in mind that we are in PA so west coast guys may not see theirs till Friday, but most of you remaining should get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks again everyone for the great response to the GB, I look forward to doing more GB's on Tuners in the near future!

I've been sick the last couple of days and haven't been to work. It would be nice to find my heatshield sitting at work waiting for me!
