That was a bronze textured coat. We just sold it on Ebay. Not a bad color really

BoostedinSoFla - Actually, the red on that trans is called "Mirror Red"

Rob10_99 - We did plug off all the major threads on the trans, though its hard to tell from those pics. No problem w/ warpage or anything like that, didn't get nearly hot enough for that.

Hatfield PA, about 40 mins north of Philly and turnaround time on those items would only be 2 days, maybe 3 depending on how busy we are. But if you sent them to us for next week, we could do it in a day and have them sent back out the next day more then likely. I'll PM you a quote.

All of our parts we do are cleaned in our parts washer, media blasted, washed again then coated. That's everything from bolts to wheels.

We can get pretty much any color under the sun. You tell us what you want, if we don't have it in stock, we can get it in afew days.

You must be a little on the "Older-School" side with the threads that were going around with this during that time.

We actually have a process that we've used for (actually) years for doing this. I've also used up about 6-7 valve covers over this timeframe to continually check up on the fact that there's no media left under the baffles (read: Done this, only to drill out the aluminum crush-spots, remove the baffles and inspect for residue).

I've been a "performance over bling" guy since the early-to-mid 90s---believe me when I say that if we couldn't do it this way I'd have never gotten into this, nor done any for myself.

Josh is right, we're very anal about making sure all residue/media leftover from the blasting process is out of the VC before it goes it.

JNZ Finishing will be entering our 2nd phase of development in the near future. We ordered our ceramic coating last week and should be testing it out on some parts later this week. I'll post up some pics when we start the process and see how well it holds up under the most extreme conditions. Pricing will follow soon after that, along with our new website! VERY EXCITE! So stay tuned!

GSX4BangR - You're looking at 250 (150 for the coat and 100 for cleaning) for the trans and 30/each for the control arms.

jshuman - Our Satin Black would be a good match for Jimmy's overflow caps. Gloss might be too shiny.

Here are some pics of the first test piece we did over the weekend with the ceramic coating. Its a friend's pipe from his quad. He should be coming down tomorrow to install it and start testing it out. The color is called "Shiney aluminum", basically a gloss silver. The finish came out nice. I'm still learning the best way to apply the coating using the airbrush but its pretty straight forward. I'll update again when we get some more feedback on it

Its been awhile so its update time!

We now carry a "Wrinkle Red" powder, very similar to the jDM tYte Honda valve cover color. Our first shipment should be here tomorrow or Monday.

On the ceramic front, here are afew prices on the most popular parts, soon to be up with the rest at www.jnzfinishing.com:

Stock/95/Evo/FPcast manifold - 90$
Short tubular header - 110$
Turbine housing - 45-75$
O2 housing - 45$

Turnaround time for ceramic is usually 3-5days, depending on how much prep is needed for a used part. Prices are for coating INSIDE & OUT. We currently stock a semi-gloss silver (like on the pics above) but can get gloss black and white. We also have Cermakrome, which is good to 1400deg and not really ment for turbo apps. I'm going to be testing it on my JMF manifold to see how it holds up. I'll post the results once thats done, STAY TUNED!!

The ceramic coating is good for up to 2000* and can easily have a life expectancy of a couple years under hard driving.
