A little of what's going on at JNZ Tuning...PICS GALORE

Well the my evo is down for a little bit while I work on Part 2 of my addiction. This "should" be it till next winter.

- HTA 35r
- JMF tubular manifold
- GSC S2 cams
- Quatermater twin disc clutch
- custom fuel system
- ported head courtesty of yours truly (ME)
- dual valve springs
- 1mm oversized valves

Brent's been building me this manifold over the past couple days and has gone through two revisions as you'll see. End result...perfection. As expected. We just need to get the wastegate outlet welded on tomorrow and it's done. Next step...pull the motor.

A quick pic of my Evo...

We've also picked up a new shop project. Today we decided to swing by D'Ambrosio Mitsubishi in Downingtown, PA to pick up an Evo X. First impressions were great! The car looks SOOO much better in person. Performance...as good as any other stock Evo. The car is definitely more refined and mild mannered compared to the IX but has tons of potential. Stay tuned for many new products from our camp!

BIG THANKS to the guys at D'Ambrosio Mitsu! 1st class service in our book! This is the 2nd Evo we've purchased from them. As you can see from some of the pics below they've got a good assortment available!

On to some pics!!!!!

Stay tuned for plenty more from JNZ Tuning in '08!!

I have seen the Evo X but only at dealerships. Not to many people buying them here.

Here are some final pics with the wastegate mount on. Head comes off tomorrow and should hopefully be back from the machine shop mid week. Last thing i'm waiting on is the HTA 35r upgrade to come back from FP.

CHECK OUT THOSE WELDS!!!!!

When I see welds like that it makes me want to learn... but then I'm smacked with the reality that it would take me years to get that good!

How's the clearance between the WG and the radiator? Those EVO's have some tight clearance.

I'm sure Brent will appreciate the compliment!! As for clearance...it fits. That's pretty much all you can ask for in an Evo. Truthflly, there's a decent amount of room...

Yep, it's in the works. Give it roughly a month or two before a production version is ready for the public.

The manifold looks really nice, the welds are excellent.

That blue X looks awesome and so does that graphite. Our dealership doesn't have any X's on the lot or will have any in awhile. I wanted to test drive one since I was deciding on either getting the X or the 135i but the sales manager said he won't have any coming in for awhile on the lot that can be test driven. I've pretty much decided on the 135i but I'd still like to test drive both.

Keep up with the excellent work, I'm sure that Evo will haul when running.
