Forced Performance Race Manifold Group Buy #3

Forced Performance is doing it one more time to kick off the new year! For those of you that missed out on our last two group buys, we are offering these again at a special New Years Group Buy price!

The perfect compliment to your DSM turbocharger is our FPRACE MANI!

This manifold gives you an option besides the typical EVO3 manifold when making the selection for your beloved DSM. In the past you had your choice of 1G, 2G, or EVO3 cast iron exhaust manifolds. But even though you had three to pick from, they were pretty much all the same. All of them had to be ported to perfectly match the 60mm collector diameter found on all performance DSM turbochargers. And all of them somehow expect the exhaust gas to make a drastic 90 degree turn just prior to entering the turbine housing volute. On top of that, cyl #1 and cyl #4 are blowing directly into each other in all three of the OEM options for exhaust manifold.

Well, that is all in the past now. Our FP Race manifold is a high quality investment cast manifold that actually has a full collector built right into it. Now you can have a strong cast manifold that acts like a header. Now you can benefit from having all 4 runners pointing straight down the throat of the turbine housing volute. This is the first ever DSM exhaust manifold to incorporate a true 4 into 1 collector. On top of that the manifold only weighs 11 pounds! The EVO3 manifold I weighed at the same time weighed over 17 lbs. This means that running an FPRace Mani and an FP30 turbine housing can save you over 12lbs in dead weight since the FP30 housing is also 6+ pounds lighter than a typical turbine housing.

Additionally, the interior surface of the collector and the FP30 housing interior surface are tangent to each other at the manifold/turbine housing interface. No odd angle, just smooth interior flow from the manifold into the turbine housing. Almost as if they were made to run together!

This manifold is a direct replacement for a stock 1g or 2g manifold. It is designed and made to fit in place of the OEM manifold with all other parts (beside the mani heat shield) fitting like stock. The turbo is not relocated in a manner that results in DP or O2 housing fitment problems.

The “FPRace Mani” is made from D5S material which is a blend of material normally reserved for higher temperature components such as the turbine housings of turbochargers. So in a nutshell, you get a manifold made out of turbine housing material instead of exhaust manifold material.

Now down to the Group Buy info. This group buy will be a little bit different from what we have done in the past. This group buy will be offered with gaskets only, to give you an even better price! If you wish to purchase the hardware, it may be purchased separately. What we'd like to do is offer this FPRace Mani at a hot low price of $175, that's $150 off the retail price of $325. The coating will be an extra $60 for those of you interested in coatings. The manifolds are coated in the new bronze color and is a complete coating of the inside and outside of the manifold.

We will accept GB orders for the FPRace Manifold immediately. The GB purchases for the FPRace Manifold will be filled out and shipped in a first come first serve manner.

To place an order, email all your personal info to aniel@forcedperformance.net . He will need your name, address and phone number, indicate if you are a coating kind of guy or not, and he can call you for your CC number. Payment for the GB will need to be made when the part order is placed. These are in stock and ready to ship now.

I can share a few pics of the manifold not installed. Pictured is a sample of the uncoated manifold as well as our new manifold coating.

Just my luck. I buy a FMIC, and this goes on sale.

Really wish I had the cash for it. A heartbeat wouldn't be a word to describe how fast I would jump on this.

$175!?!!? That's a freakin steal for anyone who is looking for a better manifold. I know I love mine, even if I paid a bit more for the 2nd group buy. Thumbs up to FP yet again!

This price does not include shipping. Depending on your location, shipping usually varies from $15.00 to roughly $30.00. If you contact Aniel with your information, he can give you a quote for your location.

Since you are unable to retain your stock heat shield with this manifold, the coating is designed to act as a heat barrier and will help to keep the temps down in the engine bay. Much like if you were running a heat shield over your stock manifold.

To get the extra hardware as we include in our full kits, the price would be $46.10. Those parts include:

2 - Long DSM Style Turbo to Manifold Bolts
2 - Short Evo Style Turbo to Manifold Bolts
4 - Turbo to Manifold Washers
9 - Small style nuts for Manifold to Head
2 - Larger style nuts for 7 bolt Manifold to Head

You can mix and match the hardware as you choose when you place or order.

We accept credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover), PayPal and Money Order. You will need to discuss your payment arrangements with Aniel when you place your order.

These manifolds are DSM flanged and will fit anything from a stock 14b to our FP30 series turbos.

So with the coating include, minus shipping. The total cost for this manifold is $235.00????
If so, then I'm in.

If it's any consolation, I did a pull with my DNP tubular manifold and then did a pull right after with the FP manifold. The airflow log was only different by .2 or .3 lb/min and spoolup was very similar, give or take 1-200 rpms.

Good enough, considering I don't have to deal with crack prone tubular manifolds and excess heat!
