Grimis get a grinder and grinder wheel and cut off a piece of the pipe and just order a 45 degree coupler and 2 t-clamps, problem solved.

Read my posts. I managed to make everything fit. It won't be pretty but it WILL fit. Just use a little muscle.

My buddy and I just installed this kit on his 97 GSX. Piping wise everything fit perfectly it was bolted up in under an hour. We're going to be trimming his bumper cover later tonight. I'll update with pics when we're finished.

Yeah thats what my neighbor said but even then it will not work, it puts the bov in striking range of the hood and about 5 inchs short from the TB elbow. its like i got a have-assed kit or something..

hot side tho from the j-pipe to the fmic, not a problem at all, broke a clamp tho, almost took my finger with it, but no issues besides the water pipe from the front of the turbo getting in the way, other then that, Stock fans clear good.

fogs on a 2ga not sure, cant remember if the mount lower then the 2gb's if they do, no way to keep them. And yeah after a email or two to PR about how this kit doest fit the A/T's they are working on a new one, and no ETA on that. I made my own pipe, cost me $100 extra to get it to fit right but hey you get what you pay for, just keep an eye out on it and it will be out soon.

Hey guys, I got the punishment/cx racing kit, it is installed properly, but for some reason bottom of bumper gets bent when putting on, I already trimmed the bumper perfectly and there is enough space between bumper and intercooler, but the bottom part of the bumper seems as if it wont tuck in under the intercooler, so it just bends the bottom part upwards onto the intercooler. I took pics of what I mean:

These last pics, showing the gap between bumper and intercooler, still cut a bit more as you can see, but after the cut it still bends

I just completed my FMIC install today with the Punishment Racing Kit.

Pros:
+Price
+Quality is rather nice considering the low price tag compared to other kids
+The tank looks amazing on the car and hoses coming off look sweet too
+Little fabrication needed to install (A little shaving of the bumper and cutting of plasic guards)
+Mounting and routing pipe was amazing. The kit fits really really well!

Cons:
-Quality of T bolt clamps (I broke one and after that I didn't tighten as much until i run a boost leak test)
-Did not receive any instructions or pictures on how the setup should look or be done. It was all guess work.
-Wrote an email to Punishiment Racing about missing instructions, via their website, never a response back.

Summary:
All in all, this is a great kit. If you want a quality kit, it is really worth it. I did want to mention the pros and cons of my experience as I hope it can help make a decision for others.

only reason you had a A+ install is that your car is a manual, of course it will fit like a glove for a manual, they forgot about the other guys, with an A/T there is some work to be done. Im still waiting to see if i get somekind of , hey we got the short route pipe for the a/t's wan to try it. but meh i'll never see it.

Give them some time and if enough people keep asking them it will happen sooner then you think.

I have this kit as well and I used just regular haose clamps instead of th e t-bolts. My temps did rise up alot, but I needed to burp my colling system due to having air in the system. Since then my temps are back to normal, but i'm going to trim out the black portion of the bumper anyways. Overall I am very pleased with this kit. BTw, mine also sits like previous posted.

I too was wondering if anyone has used the bumper support after installing the PR kit?

Has anyone used the lower brackts for extra support or to raise the IC alittle?

Ha same here, I just finished it today and I broke one of the t-bolts too. I was wondering how did you mount the pipe that goes after the j-pipe, the one with the nipple.

Here's a few pics of my buddies 97 GSX with the kit installed. Bolted right up, just needed to trim the bumper a bit. Zero cooling issues.

Hey asian312 how is that bracket bolted on upside down? I cant figure it out from the pics. I have this same core with my bumper support still installed as well. But if I keep this kit Im going to get one of those brackets since mine isnt held on as well. I would like to do the same thing you did.

I bought this kit when it first came out, I am AT. i ended up cutting my bumper tremendously before I figured, I'll just cut pipes. so, I removed one 45 degree piece completely from the equation and cut one or two pipes by an inch a piece, ultra short route, vuallah

They sell it on ebay. Chaser sells it. IMO it only looks good on Supra's.

You definitely need to trim your bumper ALOT. My friend and I figured this out the hard way. We practically took his bumper off over 30 times just to make sure it fits perfect with the FMIC. Good luck

Well was taking the car for a test run.. Wow the car is pulling alot harder but i turned the boost up to 18lbs and it started pulling timing a little in 3rd and in 4th it didnt. Maybe ### i need to upgrade to a BPR 7ES spark plug? Also there was a nipple on the lower IC piping... All i did was put a rubber vacuum line on it and a screw in it to block it off. Do you think that its not blocked good enough and boost leak is occuring?
