From the looks of it, it definitely does if you're referring to the 5mph crash bar.

I found it..

eBay Motors: 95-99 Eclipse Talon 2G 4G63 Intercooler Piping BOV+J Ki (item 200299530623 end time Jan-24-09 15:30:00 PST)

now thats odd.. it is only $199 with $50 shipping..

but what is weird is, take a look closely and its not the same per-say.

the cheaper one does not have or at least advertise the key essential part, being the mounting bracket, and there are ic piping thrown in there that is universal non-beaded that they even state must be cut..

what is even more weird, in their very own ad they advertise the "true" bolt on version which links to yes, you guessed it, the more expensive cx/punishment one..

heres whats included on the cheap one

and here is the more expensive punishment racing/cxracing one

very clear on the differences, its mainly the upper ic and lower ic pipes, cheap one you will have to fabricate a few, and there is no mounting bar. very key essentials IMO, but is it worth the extra $200? most would say no..

too bad they don't sell that bracket separately.. they sell something quite like it, but does not look like it would work for our cars..

eBay Motors: Alum Intercooler Bracket Mounting bar Supra 240SX Civic (item 250359162703 end time Feb-16-09 18:06:50 PST)

$25 + 9 shipping

Send them an email, maybe they include it but it's not pictured. Or you can go to home depot and make your own.

Did anyone figure out if these kits retain stock fog's? Better yet stock fog's on a 2gb talon?
What about the question on using a stock T-25 or T-28 turbo, rather than only a 16g?

My friend has the 1g kit and it seems to work pretty good, we actually just finished putting his car back together and made several pulls with it on. Although his is and older 1g kit fitment is pretty good besides a few minor modifications, but that pretty much goes had in hand with most front mounts.
Except for the fact that his bypass valve mount was "high as the space needle", which can be cut down and re-welded, although I hear they fixed this problem.
I am interested in picking up a kit, but would like to know about the turbo pipes and fog delema.

On a side note has anyone seen a kit keeping 2gb talon fog's, I have seen one with a good sized front mount with fog's, black talon, suppose to be on this site but I have not found who's car it is, i'm on page 368 in user pics....lol, thats dedication.

Yes, you can keep your fog lights for your 2ga/b eclipse or talon.

Anyone have any pictures of 2ga eclipse or 2ga/b talons? It seems the only ones with the intercooler and stock fogs are 2gb eclipse's which are further apart I believe.

With this kit, can coolant overflow reservoir be kept in the same place.

I might just get this kit, need an FMIC kit soon for my other car. I sold my SSAC kit, and VR Speed still doesnt have it in stock.

+3. Weather has been crappey here also. And every nice day we've had, I end up having to work 14-16 hours. When it clears up a bit, testing will begin. I'm shooting for this weekend.

2G-specific

I went through and read the entire thread because im considering buying either the Punishment Racing or SSAC FMIC Kit. I would love to see some comparisons between the two. If you guys could come up with some numbers for the Punishment that would be awesome.

And just to clear this up... I have a 98 GSX. Will both kits allow me to keep my fogs? I love them and will do nething to keep them. Let me know guys, thanks.

The PR kit will allow you to keep your stock fog lights; i'm not sure about the SSAC kit. Although, from some of the pics I found it looks like SSAC won't allow it.

The SSAC FMIC does not allow the use of foglights and also requires you to cut your core support.

I drove my car today. Still has pretty quick spool, my intake manifold was pretty cool after a few pulls. Great kit all in all. I'll get some kick ass pictures of it in the next day or so.

That was the first time I ever drove that car since I put the motor in it. But the car does feel pretty good for only having a 14b. I am throwing on a Evo 3 16g turbo within the next few weeks.

The fmic should be good enough for your power goal.

Great thread...I'm looking at one of these IC's as a potential replacement for my Dejon Big smic.

So, no one answered this definitely (that I could find): Does the Punishment kit require complete deletion of the crash bar under the bumper cover, or can it be re-installed with some cutting?

Thanks

So, I got this intercooler kit to replace my girlfriends Greddy 24V kit.

I'm going to be dynoing the car the way it sits with greddy kit, installing the PR kit on the dyno, then swapping it.

This will be done in roughly 1 week, 2 weeks tops (only available to do this on weekends, due to 2nd shift job).
