Black_Bullet -OP, get some weight out of that thing, it will make a big difference depending how far you want to go.
You can do sleeper weight reduction stuff that noone would be able to spot you did.
If your interested I can give you some ideas!!

I would be interested in some of those ideas,I also just picked up a true Evo 3 16g off of a local, who sold it for only $120, there is no shaft play, it is in great condition, wonder what bolting this on and a new tune will do?

There is no secrets I was just going to tell him what I did as far as weight reduction; im not saying im ahead of the curve or anything lol I just didnt want to clutter the thread....

Some really nice ideas

No front bumper crash beam, some metal chopped out frnt
no windshield washer bottle, lines
removed various brackets bolts not needed
no A/C condensor or evaporator or lines
no charcoal canister or egr or anything emissions related
no sound deadner thru out the entire car
fire wall heat padding removed on bothsides
no battery tray/ battery relocated to hatch
thick padding stripped off the underside of the carpet
no back seats or back seat belts
thin metal chopped out from under interior panels
no spare jack/ or spare tire ( i have AAA)
all gas tank and exhaust heatshields removed
light weight rx 7rims ( 11lbs a piece vs stock rims 20lbs)
light wt racing steering wheel
bottom of driveside dash removed ( under steering wheel)
2 of the metal brackets that hold the dash up ( not needed)
converted to manual seat belts instead of electric
no rear windshield washer/ motor or resourvior
light wt act 12lbs flywheel
complete abs system removed
fp race mani ( lighter than stock oem exhaust mani.)

yea so that about 350lbs worth of weight reduction believe it or not... Theres a vfaq parts weigh section soemwere online that tells you how much each piece you take off weighs...
