I'm looking to buy a Big T28. But figuring out which company to buy it from. Is there a difference between FP BigT28 and AGP BigT28? Besides Price? :D
Thanks

Im not sure the difference but to the OP if its for the car in your sig I would not bother with a t-28. You may as well get the e316g. I think the t-28 is way overpriced thats my opinion on the matter.

Well this turbo is for a different car... 2g Auto... So i think it would be perfect turbo... Yeah, I woudln't buy it new... too over price, even used I could get a new Evo3... But I'm looking for the right turbo for the setup... So Evo 3 probalby spool bit slower then this T-28. But AGP says size of Big 16... But FP says size of Small 16G... So just wondering if anyone knows for sure...

Well one difference is that FP's T28 requires your T25 for core exchange, which is why they are charging $675 for it. AGP is selling it straight out which is why they are asking a higher price. This is typical. Don't forget that neither FP or AGP's BT28 comes with a 17 psi actuator. You have to get that separately. All true big T28s for DSMs essentially have big 16G wheels in a T25 housing. I know AGP uses this, but I'm not sure about FP as they don't really say in their description.

Btw, I listed the T28 on Ebay for a bit cheaper to move it faster and to give added security to the transaction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270096835863

Yeah I have a AGP T28 with the 17psi acuator.

Sorry to take over your thread here but I have a question. Would it be overkill to put a FMIC on with the AGP T28? What would be the best size intercooler to run with this turbo? I have all supporting mods such as Fuel Pump, Injectors, SAFC II. My sidemount intercooler has a bunch of bent fins and they wont straighten without breaking, and I have already tried to straighten them.

Not overkill at all. I was running 22psi on that turbo and 272 cams. It pulled quite hard for what it was. SS autochrome fmic, 28x12x3.5. You'll want a large intercooler at high boost because the T28 is working so hard at that level that it blows VERY hot. Helps to keep the knock down with meth injection too.
