Was it smart to NOT use the SS return line?

Ok back when I was home for leave, I installed my Evo III 16g turbo and other Evo III parts. Anyway well I ordered some SS lines from a vendor I wont list. and besides sending me a feed line thats for the wrong location (WAAAAY to long) I noticed the diamiter of the hole in the fittings was actualy smaller than that of the stock line. So although yea it's pretty and all I just put the stock line back on.

Good Bad? What would you guys have done & why?

I did considering takeing it to a friend that has a machine shop and bore the fitting out but...I wanted it on then and it was like 1am.

was it -4an? If so, that's the size you need to use.

-4 seems a little small for the return line, good size for the feed line though. -10 would be a good size for the return line.

i was just gonna say -10AN is where its at.
You could cheap out and go buy -10AN SS line and hack up your OEM return line and replace the acordian part with the new SS line and call it a day while you get a new line fron the vendor.
