Ok I just purchased a rocket alpha and 550 injectors and walbro 255 fuel pump. They said I'd be fine without a fuel controller for a while. But as soon as my turbo and fule mods were on white smoke jus started pouring out the tailpipe. It smells like oil, but they said it could probably be because I dont have any way to controll my fuel. Am I running to rich or to lean. I seriously need help! And I need to know the lowest but good quality price I could get a controller for. Ahhhh help!

Did the white smoke happen when you were driving for a while.
Or did it happen right after you got it in and started the car without driving it.

Get some sort of fuel controller. Your will never right right with 550cc injectors and no control over them.

We need a few more details, but it sounds to me like you blew head gasket. Did you just get the turbo on, go boost it a few times, then the smoke? How much boost are you running? I disagree with MachV's advice--I don't think you can just strap on 550's and not run very rich. Unless the 2G ECU has REALLY wide fuel trims I'm not aware of. However, it is still going to mess up your open loop stuff. And, you really need an adjustable FPR to go with that Walbro--I am sure you are overrunning your stock FPR.

Not to sound harsh, but I think you are getting a little ahead of yourself. You really need that regulator and some way to control your fuel.

I wgot a call from my mech and hesaid that he drove it to test it to see how it ran. And he told me that white smoke was coming out of the talipipe. He said it didn't do it at idle at all but only when he accelerated and then let off. it smelt like oil. I drove it and tested it and it did it again. How could the headgasket just go out? Its not the turbo cuz I just sent it to get rebuilt. I am getting a new afc soon as I can and a fpr. But my mech even said that Ill be fine for a while. I don't know what to do. He thought it was the turbo to but cuz of what he "thought" it was I'm out 300 more dollars ontop of the install costs. What can I do I need big help.

i kinda got the same problem as you......i just started blowing white smoke when i get on it, and then let off the gas. i did a compression test, and it came out OK. wonder what it is? if you find out....post it, so i can see if thats what is up with my car.

Check your oil return line off of your turbo. Are there any restrictions? This actually just happened to me and had the same problem white/blue smoke out of the exhaust. The oil could not return fast enough and was pushing oil past the turbo seals.

If it only smokes while under boost, I would check the source of the boost, i.e. Turbo (common sense right?). Make sure everything is connected correctly as far as fliuds go. Where are you sourcing your oil feed?

the oil feed is same as the stock location, by the oil filter. i will have to check that out, as soon as i get a chance. thanks
