Hello, I was wondering whats some datalogging software that i could use on my PalmPilot Pro . I tried tunerstein and it just wont go on it. Gives an error each time.

your best bet to get on ebay and get an m100 for $50 or other model depending on what else you are looking for in a palm. get on pocketlogger.com and go to faq's. i think it talks about updating older palms with newer operating systems. this is what pocketlogger.com says..."There are no performance differences between models when using PocketLOGGER. Even the budget m100 will log just as fast as a Palm VII. Older Palm devices like the Palm Pilot Personal/Professional and Pilot 1000/5000 typically run OS versions less than 3.0. Upgrade cards have been available in the past for some models but have been discontinued." another palm is prolly your only option since yours runs on an older operating system.

oh well , well i payed 15 bucks for this palm pilot . Pocket logging isnt worth 50 bucks to me , is there any things i would get out of it?

I hope you are kidding. Your engine isn't worth 50 bucks? Mine is worth WAAAAAAY more than the 200 I plunked down for Pocketlogger and a refurbished M100.

Timing advance per RPM and throttle position, O2s, injector duty cycle....the list goes on. Unfortunatley, you cannot get a knock count off a 2g, but you can determine knock by watching for timing dips as the RPMs go up.

No , im saying that im on a tight budget and is buying a 150 dollar palm pilot worth my 150 dollars , rather than a Mod.

First off, you don't really need it until you have a S-AFC. Once you get a bigger turbo and start itchin' to crank the boost up and have the fuel mods (pump and injectors) you'll definately need it so as you don't crank the boost too high and run lean and detonate. Until then, spend that $150 on a new UIP, then get a MBC. You'll see a nice improvement. Down the road you may want to get a logger so you can tune that beast and make some real power.

first of all, i have no mods nor money. i am a poor college student. i had to go the cheap route and buy the cable (off ebay, search datalogger under parts and accessories) and downloaded the free software. i already found out that i am knocking at only 15 psi. thats almost max on stock fuel system and 14b. welp, on my car i can't run that high, now i know where i can gain some power by lowering boost. i also found my tps to be less than 100%, and all my trims are pegged at 139. plus, if my car ever throws a code, i can save $50-75 from satan. its well worth it. no matter whats mods i would have if i had the money, it would be a logger.
