Chilliwack,
well, like it says, please help me with throttle point settings on my SAFC.

I have a well ported 1gmaf, 625 Hahn Racecraft inj, 3" exhaust and run 18 psi.

I have them set at 20% and 70% right now. I see that most places tell you to set them at %30 and 70%, but others say differently.

I would like to know how and why I should set them, and what are your reccomendations.

I'd like to tune for smooth transition and nice throttle response.

BTW my low settings are all positive due to the big lower chamber of my maf(40% at 1k, smoothly down to 10% at 4k) and the highs are 0% at 4.5k up to 4% at 7k. this produces good results both on the logger and at the track. As well as the gas pump.

Eh, OK. It sounds to me like your car is running pretty good. Enjoy it, don't screw it up! Or is it doing something you don't quite like?

Hehe, yea its pretty good all around.

But I would like to make sure I have this part set well too. I think its a bit boggy/laggy and I'd like to make sure I've done everything I can do to eliminate that.

What you want to do is watch the O2 trim as you transition from low throttle to higher throttle, while it is still in closed loop. Since your lo throttle settings are higher than your high throttle ones, then if it leans out during this transition, then you want to move the low throttle point up. If it gets too rich, move the throttle points down.

Make sense?

Damn right it does, thanx again.

You should add that to your very good faq. Add a bit of explaination to it too, it would help. No one seems to put much about that in there pages on this sorta thing. And I for one, drive my car way more at part throttle than at WOT.

thanx again.
