eclipse engine?

im thinking of taking out my mirage engine and putting in a 2.0L V6 eclipse. any ideas???? thanx

my bad...i meant to say 3.0L V6.......but no one has any ideas?????

OK, Step 1. Get a tape measure and measure the V6 from side to side, front to back, and top to bottom. Then measure your car to see if there is room under the hood. Also take some measurements on the motor mounts to see how much custom fab is needed.

That'll drop right in, lots of people here have done it. It also works out well to put in in the rear, driving the front wheels through an AWD driveline.

Make sure your hyperdyne dampener pully by the new engine's timing crankfire airflow sensor (by the right hand thrust capaictatior on the valve timing belt), and posi-quadra shafts on the fuel pump are working properly before attempting this swap. You wouldn't want the Mirage vacuum actuation controller to fry a solinoid the first time you turn the new engine over.

By the way, don't overdo it, or else you might blow the welds on your
intake manifold, y0!
