Diagnostic Software??

I have searched and cant find a thread where someone was talking about this software that you could purchase. It would allow you to tune and make adjustments to your car. You could run tests on things like the fuel injectors(shutting down one at a time)...and make other adjustments to sensors.

I remember it was about $300 and you could hook it up to your lap top computer for testing and setting adjustments.

Anyone have any info on this as to where I could find this and also any info good or bad. I'm trying to see if this could be used to reset my settings on my car (they are off big time) and save me an expensive trip to the dealer.

umm you could reset your setting by resetting the computer but im not sure why things should be very messed up. just unplug your battery for a while to reset your computer.
