Macon,
I am trying to plan out my interior for the electronics i will need. This is what i am planning so far:

Tripple gauges in a-pillar EGT, BOOST, and Air/Fuel or Fuel pressure
Apexi S-AFC
Boost Controller- Apexi or Blitz
Blitz SBC-ID and Power Meter ID
Logging Software- I dont know

Plans are to mount S-AFC and TT are going to be mounted in the center air vent. Blitz SBC-Id and Power Meter ID In place or Climate controls and relocate climate controls to glovebox.

What do you think about the electronics that i have planned. Is there anything you would change. Im getting the Power Meter id to fill space with the SBC-ID.

I dont know much about logging software yet so i still need to educate myself.

I was wanting to run some nice blitz gauges but they dont make a air/fuel gauge. Wont i need a air/fuel gauge with a S-AFC?

Im trying to become educated on almost every aspect of the dsm because between me and all my friends it will be the first turbo car so i dont have anyone to discuss electronics with.

You're way off base. It sounds like you want to get the parts that are most often exposed in commercials, advertisements, and bad movies. This isn't necessarily your fault becuase you probably haven't been exposed to what you really need, but you definately should look around and do some more research.

Of the three gauges you mentioned, you only need boost. You're probably best off either getting just a boost gauge, or a boost gauge and 2 other gauges you will actually use, like fuel pressure, coolant temperature, or oil pressure.

EGT gauges are not nearly as helpful as a logger, and for now you should just concentrate on one thing, so logger it is.

An A/F gauge is very innacurate. The stock O2 sensor, where an A/F gauge would get its signal from, is designed to show when the mixture is perfect, but not much more than that. See:

An Apex-i SAFC is probably your best choice for fuel control, but you may also want to consider DSMLink. www.dsmlink.com

For boost control: a manual boost controller is probably your best choice. With prices from 50-100 dollars, and unbeatable accuracy, you can't really go wrong. Many of the fast guys use the hallman MBC from Buschur Racing, I know I love mine.

If you REALLY REALLY have to have an electronic boost controller, you probably want a Greddy Profec-B.
