Ok, a quick history about what im doing.
Got a 99 GST 5spd for the wife, needs some TLC, and an new heart. But she cant drive 5spd well and doest want a 5spd. And there is no way she's getting my GSX (its auto for the moment)
here is my issue.
The 99 harness, doest have previsions for the auto tranny (duh), but i have a 95/96 Turbo Harness that does.
I have a few options, and maybe someone has one that i haven't thought up yet.
1: Swap in the 95 harness, Ditch the 99 setup, convert the head to a 95 and get the senors, and hut down the different senors and throw in a 95 ecu.
2: Pull both harness's, get all the auto transmisson harness removed from the 95 then rewire it back into the 99 harness
3: Do 1, but keep the 99 head and ecu, and get the connectors from the 99 harness and rewire them to the 95. (all hoping that the pinouts are the same)
I've tried hunting down a 97+ auto turbo engine harness but not having any luck, and i really want this to go smoth, i have most of the parts, besides, the starter/trans/tq and the plate between the engine and trans. its confusing has heck, but i know its been done, but problem is, i have the wrong year harness and want to make it work. (unless i or someone has a 97 auto ecu harness)
any input, tips would be great, and please dont say "teach her standard" its been talked about, and its not going to happen, i need real help.
thanks.
