I am alittle confused on how to install a buffer for my aem w/b . I just recieved it and it came with a picture on how to install but it seems confusing to me. Okay.. I think the +5v from ecu connects to pin 81 on my ecu. ground from ecu connect to pin 92 on my ecu. I think signal to ecu connects to pin 75. I think signal from sensor connects to white wire from aem w/b. Am I going in the right direction? My O2 sensor is connected to my rear o2 sensor in the ecu.

Seems pretty straight forward, i don't have the pinout in front of me but as long as you use that for reference then its simple enough.

Sounds about right to me. This page should help clarify.

Is the buffer really needed for an AEM wideband? This is the only thread I've found that mentions the input.

Has anyone verified that you actually need a buffer for the wideband to rear o2. Mine is just a hair off in the link.

The buffer is needed to get it to log perfect. I could never get mine to work perfect at all. But yes the buffer is needed with the AEM EUGO to log correctly. I would avoid that WBO2 all together.

It Should read right for the most part...But, Most likely it will just flat line at 11.5:1 and won't read in the log any lower
