Sunoco Fuels?
Anyone used Sunoco supreme? It is 116 octane. It is on par with VP c-16? Our supplier of c-16 in the local area, is not selling fuel anymore and I was wondering if Sunoco is just as good?
Want to dyno sat. at 28psi, but want to make sure the fuel is good.
Let ne know, and thanks

Nothing wrong with Sunoco, it'll get the job done for you. I've seen people around here compare the two and they always ended up running the same 1/4 mile times. With the Sunoco your S-AFC settings will be a little richer.

Its only available in 55 gallon drums. A local race shop has it available by the gallon. I did some research, and it isn't 116, but 114. Not to sure about using it now.
Oh well, we'll see

Keep in mind that C-16 has a MOTOR octane value of 117. That makes its R/M value around 120. Unical (76) sells a 118 ( R/M ) gas with a motor octane of 114. So far C-16 has the highest motor octane I have found. The Unical gas is called the "ProStock" blend. I like it, but I have no experience with C-16, having no local dealers. I've ran a max of 25psi with the 118 unical.

From personal experience: VP C16 > Sunoco 116 However, you should be able to run 28psi on Sunoco, I just doesn't have as much knock resistance as VP.

I agree. VP C16 > all. The elf 124 is badass also, if you can get your hands on it.
