Do you have a wideband and a logger? While doing that on one car may be safe, doing it on another could be disasterous. It really depends on your setup, you should get a logger and monitor your knock and a wideband to check your a/f. Doing so will help you tell if it's a "safe" combination. As long as you're not knocking and your a/f is in a decent range then you should have no issues, just make sure you log everything so you know if you're detonating your engine or not, don't judge it off the "butt dyno"
