dsmchips cam compensation
I recently purchased a new eprom socketed ECU for my 92 AWD and got a dsmchip burned for mods i was expecting to get done. Here's the list of settings for the chip:
rev limit - 8500
Fuelcut elim
Octane Value - 93
Check engine shift light @ 8000
Boost Gauge Conversion to Knock Sensor
AC Cutout
5500 RPM Stutterbox and No-Lift to shift
Fuel Injector comp - 680cc
Deadtime compensation (injectors are PTE 680's)
2g MAS Comp
Enhanced Closed Loop
Idle Speed -800rpm (or whatever recommended) running Compcam 272 equivalents
All of these mods match my current setup, except I did not get the 272's installed yet. Should I not use the new ECU until I get the Cams in? It might be awhile before I get to it. what does the chip change when taking cams into mind? is it dangerous to run the stock cams while the computer is compensating for 272's?
My car is running on the old stock ecu with SAFC, not yet adjusted to the 680's but set for 560s. I couldn't find any information at the vendors site or the forums upon searching.
