I have a 90 tsi, mods in profile, and while my car did this before it did it again today. I was just drivin along (idk if it matters or not but it was rainin today) when all of a sudden i noticed when i got into the throttle more and more black smoke would appear in my rear view. Now my boost was set to 20 and tuned for 20 via afc and maft compensating for my 650s but i turned the boost back down to 16. I know theres a difference between the two levels of boost but the car still ran fine. Rough afc settings were starting at 4k-23 all the way to 6200 -32. Now to get the car to even run i have to lean it out almost the entire way :-/. Its so rich that it'll sputter then all of a sudden it seems like the motor just dies, i mean no exaust note at all for a second or 2. I called SBR and talked to craggar and he i told him my ideas but they werent too probible. What do you thinlk the possibility that my stock fpr is stuck open, i have a problem somewhere w/ lmy ignition, or my maft is bad since i had it in blow through and my 14b died (oil everywhere)? Has anyone ever had this happen to you? Btwj, i have NO boost leaks anywhere, and if there are errrors in this write up, its because i hate laptops
