I race around with some mustang guys. We have discussions about parts and such and their goodies are so much cheaper then my goodies. can I use thier injectors? How do i tell the difference between a peak hold and a saturation injector? I haven't convinced them to let pull pull theirs and compare with mine but they have to sleep sometime! ( the last statement refers solely to injectors:D )

I don't thing mustang injectors would fit. Ours are made by Nippondenso, and thiers are either Motorcraft or Bosch. Just do some research, but I really think they are different.

Most injectors are compatible, however you may find that some injectors have a different clip.

I've got Lucas injectors in my engine, and I know Bosch will fit.

ok, cool. why the hell are they so expensive then?? If they fit everything, then why not just make 10 different sizes, and sell BOATLOADS of em, and make the profit margin smaller on each unit? Kinda like smallblock Chev parts. Cams are $89, intake manifolds are $95, headers are less than a hun, but our injectors are over $300!

here is what i think i know:
lbs/hr x 10.50 = cc/min
there seem to be two basic inj types/ high impedence and low impedence
and most american stuff has somthing about a large o ring and jap has small o ring ...? and there is also a galley type and a side feed or somthing like that. we can use most all jap inj but we already have some of the largest inj stock so the other guys want ours
and bustangs ang craperos are going to have around 150-200 cc\min
inj anyway so they would want ours as well....i'll keep checking on this if anybodys interested

heres the deal you can use other injectors i am using msd 96lb wich =1020cc you have to drill out your fuel rail bigger so they will fit and just use the stock dsm head seal and they work just fine and are only 89 dollars theres your answer
