i read on one of the forums that u can get a dsmlink for like 50 bucks from a vendor. does anyone know where i could get one for this price or just any price thats not as high as $5XX. and if there is no other way, then is the only place that i can get one from dsmlink.com or no. thanks for ur help

If you find it for 50 bucks you either are going to hand your money over to a scam artist, or a crook who is copying dsmlink. The price is on DSMlink.com, but there are also some versions sold on ebay for slightly cheaper from vendors who have been given permission to sell dsmlink.

Perhaps you meant Keydiver's chips, in which that would be www.dsmchips.com . He makes eprom chip reflashes similar to DSMlink, with WAY less features, and they arent reprogrammable. However if you need something in a pinch, they are a good way to get a base tune layed down without effecting the timing map, you just simply wont have the ability to redo it down the road at will, you will have to send it back in and have another chip made.
