PLEASE answer this quick ECU Question!

My buddy has a 95 Eclipse and I have a 95 Talon. Both are FWD 5spd turbos. Right now I'm trying to troubleshoot a ECU problem I'm having and he's gonna let me borrow the ECU off his car so I can see if its my ECU thats bad. My question is on his car the production stamp is March 95 and on my the production stamp is Sept 94. Will his ECU work on my car??? Technically both cars are 95 but obviously they both rolled off the assembly line at a different time.

I know mine is EPROM.
