In-line fuel filter setup

After hearing all the horror stories about how hard it is to replace the stock fuel filter, I'm seriously thinking about getting one of those K&N in-line billet filters and associated hardware to install it. Does anybody here have one of these kinds of setups or know anything about one?

Seems like once you're set up to run one of these, it would be a lot easier to change out from then on. Is it?
