Tri state turbos, I need advice / assistance

So i got rid of my 420A..

got me a 4g63, gsx...


Got some extra spending cash on the side, but i need some feedback before i go buying performance parts...anyone wanna e mail me or respond here...

Just start with some 4G63 basics.

Intake(everyone swears by Injen and you get the sexy steel intake pipe to replace the ugly plastic snorkle).

Boost gauge (autometer's can be had for $53)


UPIC (dave brode for $72 shipped, RRE for $99)


BOV(1st gen bov or Greddy)


3" exhaust(apexi or thermal)


Downpipe( megen racing and tsudo if your on a budget)


And do the BOV dump tube free mod, and the BCS one if you dont buy the MBC right away.


MBC(joe P sells for $50 and is excellant)


I wouldn't go past 16psi on the T25, but guys have gone up to 18psi.


And espcially for a GSX, make sure you have a good clutch, ACT 2100 or 2600.


You should see 13s with those mod's on the T25, one guy ran a 13.7 on stock boost.

thoughts on that..while ive noted the upgrades you listed,it really helps....esp the clutch upgrade...

HKS is good, but my personal peference is Greddy.


My personal favorite DSM Vendor is Road Race, here is there staged upgrade guide.

2G Eclipse Upgrade Stages

$572 for an Intake,BOV,and UPIC seems a bit steep in price. Buy them seperate and save some $

Do you plan on upgrading the turbo?

just get an mbc, air filter, boost gauge, bov, logger, and safc and you'll be having fun.
