They told me either tomorrow OR Oct 13th. But I think we are confusing things. I am referring to to rain date for the people who paid but didn't get all their runs in so that they can finish their runs another day. Oct 13th they said they would finish the elimanations however.

We pulled our cars off the trailer.....then the rain began. I did get to meet some cool ass people, though. I think every meteorologist in the area should be FIRED!!!! 10% chance of rain????? How about 100%????? We looked at like 100 different forecasts and they all said that the rain would begin AFTER the event was over. Guess they were wrong. They can give me $250 for the diesel I wasted going there!

Friggin weathermen. Listened all the way down everybody said low 80's and partly cloudy (fog burn off in the morn).
Got to do a drag burn out on my first time up (cause everything was cold, didn't want to hit it too hard) and she busted on launch (probably busted on the burn out). Checked everything and figured the diff went. Tinkered around a little bit, got under the car and farted around with the driver side axle. Everything seemed tight then all of the sudden the inner CV shaft just pulled away and I got a face full of fluid. The tip of the brand new NAPA axle had just busted off. A buddy ran off to NAPA to get a replacement while I took apart the other axle and punched the piece out from the other side (as the rain started to fall). Got her back together and as my buddy came back with the new axle......they cancelled!!! Crap, ready to run again and the fricken rain gets me
Didn't get a chance to shoot the sh*t with people except Corey (Got soem good footage of the car, huh? ) and my "regular" crew. Kinda sucked because I like that part of racing. I know I missed a bunch of people.
The rain date is the 13th of October (otherwise known as the rain date for Buscher's Shoot Out). It is in the morning and only for eliminators. I went up and talked to the tower about the conflict of our national event being on the same day and they said that was all that was available (eh, what do you expect?). They did say I could use my stub for another event if I wanted. I may go on the weekend of the nationals if that's true.
Well, that's racing.........

i had fun and got to meet some cool people. John and Bruce are really cool people and There talons are really friendly (sometimes one of them winks at u) and Corey and John were very helpful for ideas and Scott was probaly the coolest one there out of everyone.
I left at like 5am with my friend Matt and we made really good time down and it wasnt as big as a turnout as i liked but it was worth the 2hr30m drive.
Thanks for all the ideas and help the otherday, hopefully we get to meet up again soon.
