hey guys i made a post a couple days ago. about my setup and i am gettin it very soon. is there any thing i should do with this motorlike the whole breaking in thing. the thing is ca i am just trying to be safe. this is the first brand new build motor i got. does this motor that much of a diff of the 2.0....i know alot about the motor but i just wanna here more from other people...like what i want to know the hp rating and things like that...how would a 16g work on this things like that thank you...OMG

Im probably way too late on this thread but Ill post in hopes that someone else will be it. The 2.3L differs by the crank and 4G64 in strocker engines, and stroker pistons, the rods are stock 6-bolt length for the 2.3L and "long rods" for 2.4L engines. DO NOT put a 16G on the stroker, you will be unhappy that you wasted 500$ just to get a bigger fp3557 or GT35R or 60-1, the strocker will make these turbo's spool before or right around 4k. Also get FP3 cams, or a cam aimed for max efficiencey on the strokers.

Having gone through this personally, I can confirm that what Dustin and Curtis are telling you is absolutely correct. Do a motoman break in and definitely get a bigger turbo than a 16G. I had one at it was out of power by 5500 RPM.

20G is the bare minimum and you can also consider a 50 trim (to start).

Enjoy the torque,

Andy
