well...you start by posting this question in the performance forums...not non-performance. Then you read this. http://www.dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/
. Yeah, the right forum would be a start....

man, you really seem to have some issues with the fast and furious car for some reason??? imo that car was a very good look for the eclipse even if it is overdone..Originally posted by cait sith
I heard you have to put a big aluminum wing on the back, a blitz knockoff body kit, and paint your car Neon green with ugly stickers to go that fast.
I'd be kind of scared about my intake manifold welds and the fact that my floor boards might fall off from the two big bottles of NOS, but I'm sure Me and the Mad Scientist can rip apart the block to fix it.

Personally, I'd sell the car and use the money to buy a GS-T or GSX. I got my 95 GS-T with 95k miles on it for 4,800. And 1st gens are even cheaper, I got my 92 Talon TSi with 122k miles for 1200. If you take the time to look, you can find cars for real cheap from the right people. The GS-T I got from a small local used car dealer that didn't know too much about cars, so I was making comparisons with him to a GS that was for sale at a dealer down the block. The Talon I got from a lady who was having a baby and needed a family car. If you're trying to go for speed, which it seems like you are, i think it might be better to start off with a turbo'd car, seeing as how you'd spend more in the end making the N/A as fast as the Turbo models are. I spent about $2800 on my GS-T and my fastest time was a 12.8 on NT-555's.
Best advice given in this whole thread.full exhaust, Underdrive pully, 75 shot of nitrous, CAI, jeep throttle body.
To hit deep 13's you need drag radials too
don't let the turbo guys fool you, you can do it with nitrous or a turbo.

You'd need to much with a N/T

ok for starters, it will not cost that much for a n/t 2g to get in the 14's if you do it right.I have just an intake and got 15.7.the intake was like $90
for $500 i'm geting into the 14's and for under $1000 it will be in the 13's.This will be w/o n2o or a turbo, all motor.I'm sick of hearing the turbo guys saying JUST BY A TURBO CAR. Y what is the challenge in that. I'm not a ricer, I know what i'm doing,I know what works and what don't. 13s are not going to be that hard for little $. just try to see what works best with your car.If you turbo guys want to bash some one's car go do it to another car site, this is DSMTUNERS, not TURBODSMTUNERS.
