Yea, I like that pipe, thats on a 1G, huh. Did you relocate the fuse box to run up and down, or did it come like that, b/c my upic fits under the fuse box. Can anyone post on the install page? I am going to take my bumper off for a good view of my fmic, and then theres the engine swap coming up, hehehehehe. :D

Good guide. My friend with a 1g might find it usefull but it is a no-brainer hehe.

Chris I have like umpteen billion pics of my UIC and LIC piping install but I dont feel like writing it up right now.. you can have the pics though.. Ill find the link and give it to ya so u can see em

One minor point... On Step 1 there's also a bracket that connects the TB to the block. just one more bolt to take off and pretty self-explanatory... but you seem to like to be thorough =) (a very good thing)

Hello all !

I am new to the MitsuEcli world and would like to know if i can get some help installing an intercooler. The intercooler i am working with is a frontend intercooler with no identity. I have no pipes and have no instructions. I got the intercooler from a friend and he says it will work with my car but i am blind since i have no guide. I have semi savy with automobile body architecture skills and am generaly very well with tools and projects. I have removed the entire front end off my 95 mitsu ecli fwd 2G turbo and now i need some help getting this intercooler in place. I have read and archived the intercooler install on this web sites forum but it was not very helpful. If I could have some photos and documentation i could get this to work in little to no time at all. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone help and reply to me via email or this post a new thread.

Thank you,
Robert a.k.a 2gEcli

If I was doing this install myself and had never done it before here are a few questions I would have which are not covered in this install. Might want to touch on a new of these points.

This install doesn't speak about the BOV at all, does it use the stock BOV or does this pipe come with an aftermarket unit? Do I have to move mine over? Do I need a new gasket?

Did you buy a new gasket for the throttle body elbow or use gasket sealer to seal it?

Did you re-use the worm clamps that were on the car 10 years ago or did you put on new ones? Shouldn't I use new one's?

The J-Pipe from the turbo to the lower intercooler pipe, did you put a new gasket on there or did you use gasket sealer?

If you used gasket sealer on some spots what type and what temp rating?

It also looks like this car has a manual boost controller on it since the vac nipple on the stock J-Pipe is capped off, may want to mention that it could look different than yours because of this.

These are a few things that I would included into the install, though that looks pretty complete these are things guys are going to run into when doing the install themselves.
