About two months ago I decided to turbo my moms 1998 Oldsmobile Alero.

After carful evaluation of the insane V6 motor I decided it would be so much easier to purchase a BOV Simulator. I would get the same awesome sound that the HKS sequential made along with added horsepower and torque. :cool2

About three weeks ago I found this amazing ad on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2418996334

Of course I immediately ordered one. After three weeks of having used my buy it now option I was getting a little pissed but just when i thought I had been had I got this super great letter in the mail:

How sweet is that they will be releasing a diesel simulator so all you truck guys be ready for that.

Well the day after I got the letter I received my bov simulator as pictured below:

After carfully reading the instructions that said to drill a hole in my muffler to secure the simulator I decided to just go ahead and bolt it on to the muffler. No need to add holes if not really required.

So here are my results and quality video of how my killer Turbo Alero sounds at high RPM's.

We did three pulls.

Pull number 1:

Pull number 2 (sounds just like the HKS seq.):

Pull number 3 (we held nothing back on this pull, we think it was sprayin gasoline):

Thats all for now. I will be back soon with the dyno chart.

If anyone wants full details on the install let me know.

Also Im currently selling a BOV Simulator for any sucker you might know for 24.99....LOL

LOL...rotfl.....i got a freind taht wants to make his supposedly AWD alero a track maniac and run 11s

My friends and i always talk about this piece. Its funny that they ran out since so many people wanted em  .

Rice for life.

HAHA I just bought an Alero, I think i found my next mod!

hahah unfortunately it doesn't sound anything like a BOV or even a turbo. and it certainly doesn't work on the same principle either. Might as well get some throttle activated switch that makes a noise through a speaker when you let go of the gas pedal [:p]

hey . . . . . . To each their own I happen to like it:mad:

Just because you guys think it's funny, I feel that it is a really cool mod for any car. I can definatly feel the increase in acceleration from it. You should feel it when the whistle starts to spool.
