So now that I've had my GSX for, oh say three days total, I am forced to let it go ALREADY. Apparently there was a major mix-up with the lady and the dealership because the car that was shipped to me was not supposed to be sent to me. The dealership uploaded pictures of the white gsx (mine) but was supposed to send me a red gsx. Now I have already started getting attached to my new car. But because it was their fault, they will be coming to pick this one up, and bring me the correct car within the next week or so at no charge to me. I'm kind of bummed because I have already had two red DSM's and I was loving the white. BUT it is still a GSX and I really didnt care what color it was. Ill upload the pics of the new car asap.
:(:(:(:(:(:(

The car is still a 99 and from the looks its basically bone stock. Looks like maybe a cheapbay exhaust, can't tell from the pictures, some upgraded door speakers, and painted valve cover. If im not wrong it might have some different OEM rims but I could be wrong. The miles are almost exactly the same but this one actually has 3k less so its around 86k not 89k. Im just not sure how you send the wrong car to someone.
The pictures of this new car are uploaded (just what I was sent tonight), the car will be here in about a week and they will pick up the white one when they come to bring the red one.

Hahaha another n/t? I think not my friend, 1g or not I have long awaited my days of spool. It makes my head to thisROFL. If I could have any color GSX I wanted, it would be that OEM teal green color that seems to be kind of rare down south. I mean the paint seems to be immaculate and the interior seems just as well so im not complaining, but its like giving a kid a puppy and then a week later saying, oh well we lost your dog, here's a new one. It still bums you out.

On the upside, I think some gold five spokes will look good with a drop:thumb:

Haha yeah I was kidding, NT or not. I love my Talon (It has less miles then your new GSX Haha)
Yeah I bet it's hard!
My dad tried to tell me my Talon wouldn't make 200k
I got sad =/
He's wrong though. HE'S WRONG!
Gold spokes would look nice.
I dunno about dropping it though.

Its fine really. I have just always wanted a 99 gsx since the first time I seen it. I was addicted. It's honestly the only car i have ever wanted.

I dont mean dropping it so it "looks cool" or anything. I'm talking about either a set of -Tein H-Tech's just to lower it an inch, and improve handling some, (it looks to have a huge gap between tire/fender) or maybe just an adjustable coilover set, like the k-sports that are on sale from our vendors. I'm all about practicality, not "how cool will this look." With my n/t it was a different story but WHO CARES. Hahaha.

I'd run away with the white 2g. The lady can cry all she wants.

Thought about it.:shhh:

Man F them
Tell them you wantsomething and something BIG.

You buy a car and you fall in love at first sight and they didnt do there job right.
Now you have to take another car. and by the looks of it the outside of the Red one looks to be a little more worn.

Make sure they give you something.
Just bi*** and complain alot and tell them you thinking about returning the car etc.

Take the Red but get a grand off or something.

Just get something that leaves you happy.
If your not happy you can make it so noticable that you are starting to not want the car.

And they will jump naked for you.

Hey we just shipped and layed down a house for you that you picked out of a catalog.
Week later, Well sorry after you have moved in we are taking that back.
Dont worry we wont make you pay for shipping.

LOL
Dont stop even if you have to pull their teeth out with a wrench.

I think it's bullshit since the pictures had the white 2g. You saw it, and you wanted it. Simple as that. They can't just give you a red one. It's like vendor selling 6 bolt head studs but instead give you 7 bolt head studs.

I agree with the free paint job, white is amazing. Although stay away from gold or bronze rims unless you get your car painted silver.

its my 1g but presonally i like the white/gold combo

well if you do have to trade and it will be a week or so, drive the crap out of the one you have right now and rack up the miles!

leave the tank completely empty and leave a pair of your dirty underwear under the passenger seat.

then call them a week later asking them to ship the undies backROFL

I say keep it. Paperwork is signed. You own the car. There really is nothing they can do legally. You bought the car and it's yours.

That's actually wrong from what I understand. When the lemon law was reformed a few years back they put some holes in it where the dealership as well as the consumer have 30 days to revoke a deal. Not sure if it applies to used cars though.

I'd still ####ing try to stiff them. #### that.

Sounds like FRAUD to me. The law is on YOUR side.

You haven't mentioned anything about VIN and all that stuff... everything checked out AS ADVERTISED? If so, the car you have is YOURS. Period.

It's not your problem. They're making their problem YOURS. Call FTC.

Definitely agree.
Dealer messed up, wants to fix it. They suck.
Sue their asses.

Lemons law vary state to state. But I still say fight it. Delay them for 30 days if that be the case.

Lemon law doesn't apply here. No mechanical failures.

Just get something nice out of the dealership. You can use the idea of "I bought the car I'm keeping it" for leverage.
