So tonight I did an oil change on the car and I was out cruisen around and seen a couple first gen and one 2gen, pretty nice then i seen a talon with a carbon fiberhood, So i said what up the dude just ignored me like i was not there haha i didn't let it bother me ### hes ride look like shit. Anyone else get the shity treatment due to there rs label on there car could be becuase my car is stock but still i thought aleast he be like what up or some thing anyways This is just fueling the drive to have a faster car then they got, So parts are on there way short ram intake off ebay, catback system soon

You could always take the "RS" sticker off...

no "RS" sticker + FMIC = plenty of people who think I drive a GS-T.

Happened to me a couple of times and thats the reason i never greet them first

i had the same problem with people in n/t

I've got to agree with Velocita, that would get you a ton of respect.

If I see them in time, I always toss a wave at DSMs.
I don't give a crap which motor and drivetrain are under it, they still have lots of parts I may need one day.

so you do make sure to look at both doors to see there both black right? and not just one replacement handle.

I always turn away when I see the black handle, but sometimes I wonder if it was just a replacement handle, .

Yeah i always try to say hi to other people with dsm's and then when i got my front mount on my car i became popular to dsmer's and riceboys alike. Sometimes i just try to stiff arm the guy in the Geo metro With wheel spacers and wire wheels. If you live near hagerstown im sure you've seen this nut

It's BATTLE WAGGON. You can only find them on eBay.

Believe me I used to, but Ive lost all hope.

If you want people waving at you all the time buy a motorcycle. Once you get one all the bikers in town like you, but I stay away from cars cause all they do is get pissed at my riding style

BTW All my emblems are shaved and I get plenty of stares and waves, but I soon found out the people waving were just ricers and thought my car had a turbo because of my cold air intake. WHOOOOOOOOOSh

I want a DRIF PIG..

A couple weeksago, me and a 1gB GSX met at a stop sign, going opposite directions, we waved and he took off kinda hard and I let him hear my HKS BOV.....Looked like a kool dsm'er.

I know most of the local DSMer's.... and their cars aren't running If i'm driving the Talon i'll always shot some love for another DSMer

I've had my car for a year and half and live in a fairly small town, there are 3 dsm's.

My 97 awd, my friends red 97 awd, and this wacked out, low life, with the "rare shampane" colored 90? 91? talon. I guess he bought it with a bunch of mods and think he's the king of the road, but knows absolutly nothing. He knows my car because he went to school with me. Saw him one day at a red light and I waved very casualy... he stares at me from across the street blowing off..then floors it past me. Wow man, yeah! Your cars the same as mine you dont need to show it off. I hate stupid drivers.

As for badges, my car used to be shaved and wingless, with that hidious body kit.
People always thought it was non turbo rice. I got so much Bs form poeple on the road..and i never would race or blow off..so basicly they would think its N/T. I would go through local drive throughs and have people ask me if it was turbo and when I told em it was awd they would freak out. " man so this is... a G-S-X!!, holy crap!," Thats an exact quote.... Turbo dsm's are pretty rare around here.

Since I re-verted the body back to stock, added the talon wing and put back the gsx badge... my car gets alot more respect. You wouldnt belive it, I could be driving on the highway or in traffic...even around town.. If it was a car enthusiet (sp?) with basic knowledge. They usualy give the thumbs up or a wave. Ask me a few questions, or a compliment and go there way.

Makes all those long nights worth it.

Hmmm, I find that to be the case amongst domestic drivers more than DSM owners, but the only other person with a DSM in my town is Kyle (mavisky) and we're pals so we always wave no matter what we're driving at the moment.

I get waves every so often because my plates say PSI L O L.
