Jacks Transmission's are they a reputable shop?
The only reason I ask is, because my friend is getting ready to do a awesome build-up on his 93gsx (new shep motor, tranny, clutch, turbo, jeezers everything!). He's not from Denver and my knowledge is limited to working in my garage on minor bolt-ons . I know there's quite a few DSM guyz in the springs...can yall let me know?
Oh any in Denver will help.
Thanks in advance

I would recommend them. They have the best prices and its really the best bang for the buck. There are some dsm's running 9's on them.

I will admit, eventhough I wouldnt let his shop work on my car, He does do good work. Him and his brother are both curtifyed techs and jack used to be a tech at phillong mitsubishi. His trannys are comparable to sheps and he`s real good at building motors.

I had him go through my trans that is a FWD trans. He did an excellent job. It has a Kaaz LSD. I asked him to check it out to see if it needed to be rebuilt. He said it was fine...some people would say yeh, it needs to be rebuilt to make some extra bucks.
I also had him put in the EVO taller 5th gear. He had a problem doing it because the section that would house that gear was not internally big enough. He had a section and swapped it out so I could have that 5th gear.
Great guy, honest and easy to work with.

I knew all along there was nothing wrong with the tranny. That noise was just part of the deal. And glad it did not get hurt in the wreck.

I can't say enough about jack and his tranny's.. It's holding up on my car with 6k antilag launches and about 500whp. Great shifting, and i never worry about it breaking.

Jack's Transmissions is fantastic. Jack has been working on and modifying DSM's for about a decade. His shop is the only one that works on my car. Jack is by far the most honest mechanic I've ever met, and a great guy in general. He's building me a motor right now as a matter of fact.

If you want a reasonable price and a transmission that shifts right, its worth the drive.

I like to add also that ive known Jack for years and he is a great guy and his bro Kevin is a genious when tuning and fabrication on dsm's. Together they can do anything for a dsm.
I have a Jack tranny and it takes 6k launches all day. Also if for some reason something does go wrong he stands by his work 100%.

I know this is late, but I've supported Jack's Transmissions since I got a DSM. He built the first trans I had in the Eclipse and I plan on having him do the LSD upgrade. Great shop.
