Compression leakage is as likely to be rings as valve seats. To rule out valve seats, you do a "wet" test, where you blip just a bit of oil into the cylinder so it can seal up the rings. If the compression number is still low, it's valve seats/faces.Originally posted by 91TalonTSiCT
low compression is usually worn rings, not worn valves.
