I have a 2.0 dohc n/a. How do you adjust the lifter? I already have the valve cover off.

Thanks

Looks like there are no bolts anywhere to adjust it. I dont know alot about these motors. :barf:

Hmm well, I have a loud knocking sound coming from one of the lifters. I checked them and 3 of them have more movement than the others. So I assume that was the problem. Any ideas on what to do?

Can I replace them?

my manual said something about holding the rocker arm and checking for movement. i'll look it up and type the description from the manual. i was curious too because my valves starting ticking more and i read that the oil cushions the space for the lashings. i thought i just needed to adjust the valves because it has been close to 30k since the timing belt has been replaced and i have 93k on the motor.

Hey thanks for all the help, yeah I dont have a manual. I will have to get one. Yeah i heald the rocker arm and there was some movement. Sucks working on your car when it is 30degrees out! :thumbdown
