I need help squeaking noise from the front left and oil leak

first question is- sometimes when im driving, there is a squeaking noise from the front left of the car, seems to be near the wheel...can it be power steering or belts????

second question is- whenever i pop my hood, there is almost always a little oilon the valve cover, that seems to be coming out of the oil cover? do i just need a new oil cover, or is it a big problem????

By oil cover do you mean oil cap? If so, check to see if there is a gasket on it. There wasn't on mine and I was getting oil all over the place. Just go to any parts store and find a flat round gasket that fits. Fixed my problem.

yeah i meant oil cap, thanx for the help....the second question still stands, the almost whistling sound, it happens occasionaly, and today i hit a bump and it started again, help!

Oil cap gasket $1 from Mitsu - a whole cap is probably $30. You'll just have to root around for the whistle - P/S is my guess.
