My mech properly wired everything up using this as a guide :

http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/2gmaf.html

Fired the car back up, and the CEL was still there

mech said that he had 3 error codes at first relating to MAF, but he got rid of 2, and now has 1.

He went through alot of the steps, but nothing.

I know my ISC motor is bad. So i ordered a new one. Would that somehow relate to a CEL regarding the MAF?

He also told me to go to mitsubishi and get a new BISS screw and O ring, cos the current one he said, is all old, and the rubber o ring is crapped out, and the screw slips upwards. Could that cause it too?

Im not sure what else is left to try? ?I fear it just may get down to my ECU having problems, and thats an expensive fix. No clue what to try.

help!

Thanks guys!

bump.

Also, could a bad ISC be a culprit for a MAF cel?

I just want to know how many more things ill have to troubleshoot before i find my problem. Its pretty frustrated. Rrr:cry:

Im curious to know,

Since my new 2g maf/harness isnt working out, would swapping in the original 1g maf/harness maybe help me out, or get my error code to dissapear?

Just a thought..
