The stock tachometer in my car is non functional. I purchased a new instrument cluster and replaced the original only to find that this didnt fix the problem... Any ideas or clues to what i should check?

there is this wire/connector probably under or near your intake manifold ....it might be unplugged or the connector is somehow dirty ... take car of that and it would work ... first get a haynes manual and look it up on there before you go pulling every single wire on your motor
